Donate Through Your Tweets:

As avid social media users, Twitter has been a welcomed into our fast-paced business professional and personal lives; due to functional communication, a generalized definition of micro-blogging or short and quick cloud bursts of information, top-notch globalized connections assisting business, prestigious breaking news, and also as a social platform offering a number of diversified reasons -- different to all.

Ladies, we tweet; that’s what we do. However, have you ever considered a simplistic tweet as “benefiting” merely in an allowance of 140 characters? Within 2010, a start of a fresh decade of technology, Twitter has been tried and true to its apex benefits for various causes, charities, and advocacy to believe in… Raising millions, Twitter is now linked globally to micro-blogged humanitarianism; leading as number one in The United States.

Now until August 15, 2010 *you* can contribute $1 to National Geographic's “Polar Bear Fund”, all proceeds will go to research and study of globalized climate change and the effect. You do not need to pull out your credit cards or open up Paypal to donate $1, simply add the hashtag #SlowTheMelt to your tweets. That’s all, no money transfer needed; just tweet on Twitter.

Note: Your tweet can be subjective to *anything* just add #SlowTheMelt, if you are unfamiliar with hashtagging that’s okay; your tweet should include #SlowTheMelt as I’ve typed it without spaces and using the pound symbol at the beginning for a hyperlink to be created.

Goal: To raise $25,000 (USD) for the assistance of Climate Change Research
